Working with Gunnar reminded me why I love photography – the way it reveals layers beneath the surface. He walked in wanting a mix of masculine and sensual shots for his brand, and though he seemed guarded at first, the real Gunnar gradually emerged as we worked. Beyond the tattoos and tough exterior is someone with genuine depth and warmth. We used Alien Bee 800s in the studio to create that bold look he wanted, then switched to natural window light for the softer scenes. By the end, we’d captured something honest – a reminder that first impressions rarely tell the full story.
